Outpatient appointments for South Australian public patients: how to make appointments, what to bring, what to do if your condition worsens.
Outpatient services are planned procedures, consultations or tests that are carried out by a specialist but do not require an overnight stay. These generally occur in public hospitals.

Services in country hospitals may differ from those in metropolitan hospitals. For more information about country outpatient services, country patients should contact their General Practitioner, or local hospital or community health service.
