Country Health Governing Council Nominations

Nominations for membership of the Country Health SA LHN Governing Council are sought from individuals with appropriate qualifications, skills and experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Hospital or Health Service Management experience
  • Business Management and/or Financial Management experience
  • Experience in the provision of clinical medical, nursing/midwifery or allied health services
  • Health Consumer representation
  • Knowledge or experience of the needs of people of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Descent
  • Other relevant areas.

In order to satisfy the requirements of the Health Care Act 2008 which relate to Health Advisory Councils of incorporated hospitals from country areas of the State, the majority of appointed members will reside within the regional boundaries of the Country Health SA Local Health Network.
