Our General Practice Integration Unit (GPIU) is a dual initiative between the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) and Adelaide Primary Health Networks (APHN).
GPIU was established to drive positive changes and improve patient care by facilitating and strengthening collaboration, communication and integration between General Practices (GPs) in northern metropolitan Adelaide and the NALHN.
The aim of the GPIU is to encourage and improve the exchange of information, cooperation, efficiency, and quality of communication between hospitals and GPs.
The NALHN GPIU will be closed over the festive period from 12 noon 20 December 2024 until 8:30 am 6 January 2025. For all clinical matters and urgent referral advice, please contact the Registrar or Consultant on call via switchboard. All non-urgent matters will be attended to upon our return.

The GPIU will endeavour to respond to requests in a timely manner, but a response can take 2-5 business days if there are multiple aspects or multiple patients.
